Michael asks her to stay and commiserates by opening up about Abby. They're interrupted by a knock on the door from McBain. Starr hides as Michael greets John, who is looking for Starr. Michael invites him in, but insists he hasn't see her. McBain says he seems like a nice kid, but he's a terrible liar. As John continues to grill Michael, Starr emerges. McBain wants Starr to head back to Llanview, but Starr won't budge until after the trial. Exasperated, John tells her to call Blair and to call him if she needs anything.
