The Side 2 Side | Part Five | Castle an Dinas to Gwel-an-Nans | Escaping Bodmin!!

Part five of my project to walk from Land's End to Ness Point - the furthest western point of England to the furthest eastern point. I packed up and left the hillfort of Castle an Dinas, where I faced a stupidly busy road walk before picking up country lanes to Bodmin. Bodmin proved to be very difficult to leave! I had a job trying to plot a safe route out of it that didn't include any major roads and eventually had to negotiate a busy B-road. Once out of the town, I had planned to wild camp on the downs, but passed the lovely camp site of Gwel-an-Nans and stopped for a comfy night instead.
