Join us as we drive from Wanaka to Queenstown. We stop off at the famous Bradrona Bra Fence! The Cardrona Bra Fence has raised more than $30,000 for the Breast Cancer Foundation. The infamous fence was rebranded to "Bradrona" in 2015 to raise money for breast cancer and $30,000 has been raised by people leaving donations in a box at the site. ‪@BreastCancerFoundationNZ‬ Cardrona is gorgeous. Established in 1863, the Cardrona Hotel is one of New Zealand’s oldest hotels, and is one of only two remaining buildings from the Cardrona Valley gold rush era. Situated on the spectacular Crown Range Road, the Cardrona Hotel is one of New Zealand's oldest and most iconic hotels and is one of only two remaining buildings from the Cardrona Valley gold rush era. We stop at AJ Hackett Bungy NZ at the Kawarau Bungy Bridge, where it all started... the World Home of Bungy! Yikes!! ‪@AJHackettBungyNewZealand‬ After checking into our hotel, we drove to the amazingly beautiful Glenorchy to see the Glenorchy Steamship Depot "The Red Shed". The lake was as still as a mill pond and the views are even better for it. We learned about this place after watching a ‪@PeterandYen‬ video. Lunch at Mrs Woolly's General Store was yummy and it was great to use another book exchange site. I left my finished copy of 'Educated' by Tara Westover there. Have you read it? We popped to the New World supermarket in the Remarkables area of Frankton. We met Izzy, the supermarket cat. She's gorgeous and well looked after the staff of‪@newworld‬ Deer Park Heights is a scenic drive and animal encounter located in Queenstown. It's a working deer farm where you can drive a long route and meet deer, pigs (and piglets), goats, highland cattle, llamas. You can even feed them! The drive is not for the faint hearted!! ‪@deerparkheights8622‬ We enjoyed exploring Queenstown. It's a great place with a friendly, buzzing atmosphere. The Queenstown Gardens are an oasis of calm. The cheeky drinks on Perky's Floating Bar were very welcome ;) We discovered the bar by watching a ‪@DanegerAndStacey‬ video! Our trip to the top of the Skyline was great - we were so lucky to have a gondola to ourselves. The buffet food at Stratosfare was delicious, the staff delightful but the view absolutely was the winning ingredient! ‪@SkylineQueenstownNZ‬ We stayed at the lovely Rees Hotel ‪@thereeshotelqueenstown6686‬ What a view across Lake Wakatipu!
