The actor and comedian described incidents in Michigan and Chicago where the venues faced safety concerns due to his support for Israel. In Michigan, the club was unable to secure police protection, which led to the show’s cancellation. Although a similar situation arose in Chicago, that show has been rescheduled. Rapaport expressed frustration at the cancellations, attributing them to "anti-Jewishness" and noting that he never faced such backlash for his opinions on other social issues, like LGBTQ rights or Black Lives Matter. Despite his fierce advocacy, Rapaport mentioned he hasn't faced physical threats while in New York and doesn’t attend protests to avoid potential confrontations. Additionally, he noted the irony in receiving no significant pushback in person, while social media remains a different landscape altogether for him.
