Purely Freight: A few Hours at Carlisle Station. 14 Feb 24 Well a couple of passenger trains do appear but purely as background to freights, mail, engineers and test trains We start with a filthy GBRf loco - with interesting graffiti on the front. We have a mail train, a test train, the Tesco train and engineers trains. Also a route learning run for Freightliner drivers from Crewe. Watch out for the trainer's chair! A surprise was the HVO-fuelled 68014 returning from a test run to Crewe and back. For the first time for quite a while, the logs are hauled by a Class 70. The times shown on clips are for guidance only and shouldn't be taken as definitive. Any observations are my own and not intended to show any authority and may show my misunderstanding.
