Looking for a way to stop sharp pain in your thumb and wrist? In this video, I'm sharing one of my favorite taping techniques for De Quervain's syndrome, also known as De Quervain's tenosynovitis. Kinesiology tape is a more user friendly alternative to splinting. Big bulky braces not only prevent you from using your hand and thumb but can make you very stiff. Whether you're dealing with an acute flareup of De Quervain's tenosynovitis, or struggling with chronic pain, this taping technique can help decrease pain and inflammation. Allowing you to start healing. So go grab your Kinesiology tape and a good pair of scissors. Let's get taping! But remember do not use the tape over rashes, cuts, or broken skin.
