Appearing together for the first time ever, the Guitar Prasanna Trio made their debut at Esplanade with an inimitable musical style that seamlessly marries Indian Carnatic music with rock, metal, blues and funk. Comprising frontman and guitarist Prasanna, bass phenomenon Mohini Dey and Surinamese master drummer Harvey Wirht, the trio performed some of the biggest hits from Prasanna’s landmark albums Be the Change (2004), Electric Ganesha Land (2006), and All Terrain Guitar (2016). Presenting a captivating fusion of musical ideas and energies, Guitar Prasanna Trio performed live at Esplanade Recital Studio on 15 Nov 2019.
