The Snow White Drama DIDN'T Have To Happen!

Disney's live action remake of 1937's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs has been plagued by production drama, from objections by Peter Dinklage to the inclusion of little people in the cast to lead actress Rachel Zegler having opinions that haven't endeared her to potential paying customers. The most frustrating part about all of this is that none of this drama was necessary! If the filmmakers (and those with loud opinions) had just a small amount of familiarity with the original folktale recorded by the Brothers Grimm as well as the smallest knowledge of the historical context of Walt Disney's first masterpiece, this film could have avoided disaster so long before it was even released.
