Let's do something different and creative, and a bit challenging too. Instead of having an image as a backdrop, let's make something from nothing! Yes, you can do it, and your machine embroidery will be an original work of art! It's easier than you think, and the possibilities are endless. Start with a shape - there are tons that are built into the software. I picked a leaf for fall. Make a larger outline. Multiply the leaf any way you think looks great - how about a circle? Add in some background quilting stitches or motif stitches, cookie cut the shapes and you have your own in the hoop quilt square! Change the stitching, add some outlines, work with colors.
