My 1st DIY Speaker Repair - Refoam Cerwin Vegas surround replacement

In this video I attempt my first re-foam of a pair of 8 inch 1980s Cerwin Vega speakers. The foams were rotten so I ordered the new foams on Amz, I had to do a little research to find out what glue was the best for a first time repair. The foams cost about $8 USD for the pair, I read in the forms that you could use a craft glue and a lot of people were using Aleene's tacky glue so I figured I would give it a shot. As you can see in the video it does work and I drove them pretty hard and the glue held up. The first speaker repair I used to much glue and the finish was not as good but my second was perfect. I know the dust caps logo was turned on one of the speakers, I think I mixed up the drivers boxes because I made sure that I glued the cap on in the same position. The speakers were given to me years ago, I figured it was worth repairing them because there the perfect size for my camper and they are good speakers. These are my first Cerwin Vegas and I'm impressed, I'm used to my 18 inch speakers but these 8'' Vegas rock.
