Rescued barn owl Quincy loves massages. She has been raised in our little sanctuary since she was a baby. We believe this adolescent owl was born around New Years 2015. She was at a market in pretty bad shape with her sibling (who was in worse shape. .and we regret not being able to rescue them both) More about Quincy coming soon, but wanted to share how this little barn owl has won our hearts. Liberate Wings is a bird rescue sanctuary where we rescue, rehabilitate, and release birds/raptors back into the wild once they are ready. Sometimes birds come to us in really bad shape so we just hope to give them a place to stay to live out their remaining days. We hope to rehabilitate all the birds that come here, but sometimes it's not possible for them to survive out in the wild, so we have a few living with us.
