[MKWii] - Altepeyolko, a cyberpunk city inspired by Aztec philosophy

After almost a year, it is finally here! (although in a BETA state for now...) The final Chronocup track is Altepeyolko, meaning "in the heart of the city" in Nahuatl, the language of the Mexica (also known as the Aztecs) which is still spoken today in Mexico and other countries from Latin America. It is a cyberpunk city which draws inspiration from the Neo Seoul story from the film "Cloud Atlas", and is set in 2325, one thousand years after the foundation of Tenochtitlan, now Mexico City. The whole track draws heavily from Aztec philosophy, mainly the concept of Teotl, the unifying energy in motion that shapes the entire universe. For the Aztecs, all existing things are merely presentations of Teotl, including the gods they worshipped, a couple of which appear in this track: Tlaloc, Quetzalcoatl and Mictlantecuhtli. One of the fundamental representations of Teotl is the Ollin, the kind of motion that brings order to chaos. In Altepeyolko, we see Ollin in the second intro camera via the symbol of two interleaving lines (https://neomexicanismos.com/wp-conten...) and the face of the giant holographic man. It is the symbol of cyclical completion to which everything is bound (life-death, up-down, front-back, fast-slow). Another important concept in Aztec philosophy is Nepantla, or "in-between", the state of transitioning between two or more worlds, perspectives or realities. It reflects the fluidity and tension between opposites and so is inevitably related to Ollin. Both Nepantla and Ollin are represented in this track by the extreme chaotic nature of the shiny transparent highways - they're interleaving and one can always jump from one to the other, they may get overwhelming, but in the end balance is reached until the racer drives to the next chaotic area. There are many other elements of Aztec philosophy, architecture and cosmology that have been represented in Altepeyolko but this space is too short to explain them, so I will make a video talking about it in the near future. For now, enjoy the track! The amazing theme was made specifically for Altepeyolko by Mexican artist Death Selektor, and is titled "The Final Race".
