Soon after the discovery of X-rays, XRD was developed to investigate the atomic scale world around us. The size and shape of instruments has changed over time, ranging from beamline diffractometers which encompass an entire room to all-in-one benchtops. With this scale of size, came a scale in application and result quality. Recently, the D6 PHASER benchtop XRD platform was released, changing the trajectory of this trend. With a wide range of applications and results which meet or beat floor standing systems, the D6 PHASER has disrupted the XRD community. In a new 3-part series of Live from the Lab we will explore the power, versatility, and accessibility of the D6 PHASER benchtop platform. This episode focuses on accessibility.
