In this Vlog, I start by sharing what I've done with the small needlebook I started yesterday as inspired by the small needlebook by Bec of ‎@Sewbecurated. I was planning on stitching a rolled linen button covered in needle weaving but realised that the tiny vintage mother-of-pearl buttons look pretty good on it. I would LOVE to know which button you think I should use. Please let me know in the comments. I then talk about the vintage zippered pouch I want to create but go on to explain that I'm feeling a little sick on how exactly to begin & which fabrics to pull. After this, I show you how I prepare my fabric & wadding to baste. I show you how I baste and prepare to slow stitch in a Kantha style.
