RaiderZ-Closed Beta. Character creation and early gameplay.

RaiderZ is a free to play, monster hunting, action RPG from Perfect World Entertainment. PWE is responsible for some other solid f2p games lately like Rusty Hearts and Blacklight Retribution. You can find out more here http://raiderz.perfectworld.com/ The game is supposedly similar to the Monster Hunter games but I've not really played around with that series. I did play one for a little bit at the request of a friend but dropped it fairly quickly. RaiderZ so far plays similar to games like Tera and Vindictus. It is an action combat game where you are responsible for avoiding damage and properly hitting monsters. The questing so far seems rather normal but I will say they have spun some interesting quests out giving this a slight edge over Tera. I also feel I'm leveling faster in this game making it a bit more rewarding. There is some engrish going on in the text translations and everybody does emote at you in Asian languages but the game feels like it is getting some good work done on it. Being f2p and feeling like it's not very grindy yet, I give a nod to this game over Tera at the moment. Tera does look prettier and has WAY less draw in than this game though and is a bit more triple A quality. If you are a fan of the action combat games, you likely will find this game to be fun.
