GERANDI ELLA | GARADI | GERANDIGINI | GARADIGINI WATERFALL (Nuwara Eliya) Sri Lanka: The Hidden Passage. There are several Waterfalls name after the rat snake due to their serpent shapes. This Gerandi Ella is located close to Ramboda at Eyrie Division, useful precision as Google maps shows a wrong location. We accessed it from the Candy-Nuwara Elyia Road, just outside Pussellawa, and drove a relatively good road up through the tea plantations for about 12 km. We parked near the school about 1 km before the Kovil where we had first stopped. We followed a group of village teenagers who revealed to be great guides. Thank you! Many voyagers have taken pictures of the Waterfall from the rock about 100 meters down from the track, but our guides showed us a hidden passage below the rock where you can enjoy a quite and more complete view of the fall and the surrounding. You overlook the Kandy-Nuwara Eliya road, and all the way to the Kothmale dam and reservoir. But don't go there alone or when raining!
