Circumnavigating Hurston | Pole to Pole in a Corsair and Back Again

Using OM-2 as my guide, I started at the Southern Pole. I set down at the nearest estimation, left my Murai Pulse as a marker for my point of origin and set off on my expedition. I maintained a heading of 0° thinking it would lead North and it did somewhat. The heading changed from 0° to 180° but it did so as I passed the Equator and changed hemispheres. The ship compass works well enough to maintain a straight flight path but I don't think this is how a real compass works. I could've used the OM-1 quantum marker to ensure I was in fact over or at least near the Northern Pole but I chose to rely on the compass and my flight path. Once I'd travelled through the Northern Hemisphere the compass changed again, this time from 180° to 0°. At the very least, I was confident that I had completed half of my journey with plenty of fuel to spare. I am slightly disappointed to admit that I had strayed from my azimuth, passed my set off point and had to double back using the OM-2 quantum marker to find my point of origin. All in all I am extremely satisfied and proud to present a complete recording of my expedition, for posterity. I hope this is one of many endeavors in exploration, for the good of all citizenkind.
