I actually got to visit the Missing Link set at Laika Studios in Portland Oregon. I take you on my journey of running around Laika Studios and seeing their new film's set, MISSING LINK! If you think you know stop motion animation, think again! Stop motion animation is an ART FORM full of patience, knowledge, a lot of collaboration, and imagination! There are so many little bits and pieces that go into a Laika stop motion animation that you had no idea about! Getting inspiration for art comes from different avenues. I got inspired immensely by being surrounded by so many creative people and artists. Especially when all of these amazing models, puppets, and sets were staring at me in the face.
