Bishop Mosa Sono: Word of God: My brothers keeper - Genesis 4:9. Galatians 6:1-2 The world has the Cain attitude. Cain had an attitude problem because he had a grudge towards his brother. God wants us to concern ourselves with what happens in the lives of others. We should play the role of restoring others with gentleness. The God way is to help one another. We must ensure that we don’t power up to the people who are in trouble. Keeper - Shamar in Hebrew: to hedge about with thorns. To guard, protect, attend and help. To preserve and regard, to be a watchman. The mark of Christianity is to care about others and not always look out for number 1. John 3:16 - God have Jesus without any guarantee that there would be anyone to receive Him. 2 Corinthians 5 God takes the first step in seeking us. Practical ways in being our brothers keeper: 1. We must love one another as Jesus commanded - John 13:34-35. This is the only commandment that Jesus gave the New Testament church. The one thing that neutralizes our power is the lack of love. Romans 5:5. 1 Corinthians 13:1- 6, if we don’t walk in love it’s useless. #MotivationMonday #GraceBibleChurch
