The Hot Chili Peppers - Breaking the girl (Updated drum cover)

Well, here it is. I finally got a chance to update my old RHCP cover. I wanted a chance to re-cover it so I could play a bit more similar to how Chad plays this song, specifically, making the tom work a bit more dynamic. Also I now have much better recording equipment, and cymbals that don't suck (thank you random Craig's List sellers). A couple things to note. I didn't realize the awful ring my snare had till I had finished recording and EQing the video. I managed to muffle it after the fact so I promise it'll sound better next video. Also I'm still learning cubase so as I post more vids, the mix downs will get better. I'm also tinkering with mic placement and other things to try and get the best sound out of my kit. Been playing about 4 and a half years. Live, from the CrossFit Envy storage closet.
