Additional annotations: I should mention that this computer also has an ambient light sensor which allows for enhanced control of the keyboard backlighting (the keys won't light up in an adequately-lit room if you desire) as well as the display's backlighting. This feature only requires that the Dell Feature Enhancement or Dell System Software be installed on Windows. I have not tested its functionality on any Linux distributions.
