ONCE UPON A TIME IN BROOKLYNO

Once Upon a Time in Brooklyno is journey into the heart of Bensonhurst. This neighborhood in Brooklyn was once famous for having one of the largest and most famous Little Italy’s in the United States and the world, were you can feel the Italian vibe and find the Italians traditions. Attracted by all of this, Michele, an Italian who moved to Manhattan in 2003, decides to move here after discovering that he and his wife would soon become parents to twins. The couple decides to settle down right in the heart of Bensonhurst, where Michele knows he will once again be surrounded by the flavors and by the traditions that he so misses after having lived far from home for so long. Before long though, Michele discovers that Bensonhurst is no longer what it used to be. The biggest little Italy in the USA in now emptied of Italians. In search of what remains of the old neighborhood, Michele meets with those immigrants who arrived in Bensonhurst 60 years ago and refuse to leave. Directed and produced by Michele Petruzziello
