Delonghi EC155 Pump Espresso and Cappuccino Maker Review

Hi Guys, today I’m reviewing the Delonghi EC155 15 BAR Pump Espresso and Cappuccino Maker. Link to Delonghi EC 155 Espresso and Cappuccino Maker: http://amzn.to/1Euayiv It measures 10.5 inches tall by 7 inches wide and 9 inches deep. It is very small when comparing it to standard espresso makers. Since this might be the first espresso machine for many of you that are watching, I will give you as much information as I can so it’s easier to use. Link to Frothing Pitcher: http://amzn.to/1O25Ic4 Link to Shot measuring glasses: http://amzn.to/1JuXet3 Link to Espresso Coffee: http://amzn.to/1O25Po3 Link to Cups: http://amzn.to/1Fa86Zg This is not like a keurig where you put a pod in, push on and it’s done. There is a little more that’s involved but after you make a cup or two, it’ll be very easy. The housing is plastic with some steel accents. The unit comes with a detailed instruction manual, metal filter holder, large stainless steel filter for 2 cups ground coffee, small stainless steel filter for 1 cup ground coffee or pods and a plastic scoop to measure coffee. The filter drops right into the holder, just match up the notch. Open the water tank lid and you’ll find the plastic water tank that holds 33 ounces to the max fill line. It is removable for easy cleaning. Make sure you push the tank down otherwise the valve on the bottom won’t open and you’ll have no coffee. You can store the small filter here when you’re not using it. If you look carefully, you can see the water line here. This is the steam/hot water tube with cappuccino frother attached. You’ll use this to froth your milk for cappuccinos and lattes. It can also deliver plain hot water. The knob to control steam is on top of the unit. Rotate counterclockwise to adjust the amount of steam. When you’re milk is ready, turn the knob clockwise and turn the unit to off. You should use cold milk. I use whole milk which comes out great and the manual recommends skim milk. The unit has two separate thermostats, one to control the water temperature and one for the steam. The boiler is stainless steel and durable. The unit is self priming so there is no start up preparation for you to do. The drip tray is removable. This is the built in tamper. This unit is about $100 or less and I feel an exceptional value. You can make really good espressos, cappuccinos and lattes at home pretty quickly. If you don’t want to spend a lot of money constantly drinking at cafes, this is a good option for you. I’ve put the link to the Delonghi and accessories in the description below. I hope this review helped you and if it did, please give this video a thumbs up. Subscribe for more reviews and I’ll see you next time.
