Praise the Lord, everyone! I’m Samatha Kennedy, and I've been in children's ministry since 2006. The foundation of our ministry, Grace Ministries, was laid in 1996 by my father, the late Vunnam Bhaskar Rao, after he retired as a railway station master. His main motto has always been to feed starving children with both food and necessities, which included food distributions at orphanages in those early days. As I continued in children's ministry, I began to feed not only their physical hunger but also their spiritual hunger, using Proverbs 22:6 as my guiding principle: "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it." This year, we conducted retreats in 10 different places—8 locations hosted three-day retreats and 2 locations had one-day retreat, all within a month, using the CGC curriculum. Despite facing many challenges, including the passing of my mother, God led us through and helped us continue our mission successfully. I'm incredibly grateful for the dedicated team God has prepared for us, as well as for everyone who participated in this journey.
