Actually Our Plan was to Visit Gorumara National Park, but due to some reasons we chose to visit Chapramari Wildlife Sanctuary. And Our Change of Plan was a grand success. We had an amezing experience at Chapramari Wildlife Sanctuary, can be said experience of lifetime. We saw almost 24 Bisons (Gaurs), 8 Elephants, Wild Boars, Peacock, Adjutant Stork (Madantak). Chapramari Wildlife Sanctuary is a beautiful protected area located in the Himalayan foothills of West Bengal, India. The sanctuary is spread over an area of 960 hectares and is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna. It is situated in the Darjeeling district and is a popular destination for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts. The sanctuary is known for its dense forests which provides a perfect habitat for several species of wildlife such as elephants, tigers, leopards, deer, wild boar, and several species of birds. The Murti river flows through the sanctuary, adding to the picturesque beauty of the place. Visitors to Chapramari can enjoy jeep safaris. The sanctuary is also a great place for photography and capturing the beauty of nature at its best.
