Bala Mantra -usually we say Shadakshari and should do Akshara Laksha Japa ie 6 lakhs Japam. And there are those great Upasakas who have continued to do Bala Japa much beyond the numbers prescribed for Purascharana. Bala Mantra is the lifeline of Sri Vidya- it is a power house. Many Purna Deeksha Upasakas have continued with Bala Mantra. not just in lakhs but in crores. Panchadashi means 15 lettered Mahamantram . We said earlier that Sri Vidya is 3 bijas. What is a beeja in Bala mantra becomes Khanda or Kutam in Panchadashi Vagbhava Kutam- 5 beejas Kamaraja Kutam - 6 beejas Shakti Kutam- 4 beejas These 15 letters represents the whole world not mere letters. We hear the terms Hadi Vidya and Kadi vidya Panchadashi starting with ka is called Kadi Vidya. Hadi Vidya- Ha sa ka la hreem (5 beejas), Ha sa ka ha la hreem (6 beejas) and sa ka la hreem (4 beejas) The difference between the 2 Vidyas- One is Dakshinachara ie Kadi Vidya.
