Travels by Narrowboat - Lancaster Canal - Back To Basics - S07E10

At last, after a wait of 5 months, Aslan and I can finally continue our journey along the Lancaster Canal, in Lancashire, England. Leaving Lancaster, we continue northwards and after a couple of miles, arrive at the famous and impressive Lune Aqueduct. Continuing on through picturesque countryside (and the continual threat of heavy rain), we pass through Hest Bank and Bolton-Le-Sands. En-route, I attempt to moor for the night at several spots, only to be thwarted by the unique 'vee-shaped' profile of the canal. Later and almost giving up on finding a mooring at Carnforth, I stumble upon one remaining spot, and quickly grab it - relieved to have found somewhere to spend the night. -------------------- If you'd like to contribute to my channel and future videos, then I have a PayPal Me page.
