Indoor water garden LIST OF MY PLANTS: BACK ROW: from left to right Purple heart ZZ plant Spider plant Bamboo plant IN FRONT ROW: Jade plant Snake plant/sansevieria Syngonium Money plant Choose Plants that are suitable for indoor hydroponics.  Take a good sized (but not large) cutting with only a leaf or two from an existing plant just below a node. Cut just below the leaf leaving the stem in place. That stem is considered the “leaf node”, and it is really where the majority of the rooting hormone inside the plant has already been active and will ensure a sprout.  Take A glass vase with a thin neck (to help hold the plant upright) or a similar vessel will do just fine. Choose place in your home with bright, indirect light is perfect. Try to find a spot that is slightly warm where the temperature doesn’t change too often. For the first couple of months change the water weekly. if you are growing plants in the water, they are living, so the water will remain clean. Water from the tap is good because it has oxygen in it. Once roots have formed replacing the water monthly. Watch your budding plant buddy for signs of rooting, which typically begins after 2 weeks.
