CMY(K) Cyan Magenta Yellow (+ Black) - These are the standard printing ink colours - have a look at the colour test at the bottom of any newspaper. The term 'primary colours' can be a touch misleading, however, these paints are as close to neutral as you're likely to find (i.e. not leaning toward a red-blue or green-blue or an orangey-yellow or green-yellow) . These are vibrant colours that mix predictably, to give equally vibrant secondary colours.
