Today on Drake Lawn Care LB and I stumbled upon a neglected property in Drake’s childhood neighborhood. The previous owner was a beloved member of the community of over 62 years, and left a legacy so nice that her neighbors couldn’t bring themselves to report her lawn to code enforcement. After speaking to many neighbors we received the blessing to give this lawn some much needed love, and restore it for FREE. This job was special, and we ran into a couple of our subscribers while working. It was a surreal feeling to see how much our deeds are touching those around us, and we thoroughly enjoyed meeting our fellow supporters! It wasn’t all sunshine though. The next door neighbor shared her testimony of fellow community members losing their homes due to raised property taxes. A story that we hear too often. That aside, we were able pour love back into this lawn, and were met with gratitude from the neighbors.
