From the inception of chattel slavery in the 1600s all over the Americas and Caribbean to the post abolition Jim crow laws 1877 to the 1950s that saw many of the diaspora Africans treated as less than human and the demise of many was death by lynching which was mainly to be hung by the neck, this trend started around the 1830s. 1948 South Africa saw the inception of apartheid which was a Jim crow type racial segregation system where many Africans lost there lives in the fight for freedom (Steve biko been one of them) this was abolished in 1994 but the previous year saw the brutal murdering of Steven Lawrence, a black youth in London by a group of white men.2012 saw the murdering of treyvon martin, A 17 year old black youth that was shot and killed by a white security guard. 2020 we have just seen the murdering of another black man by the neo KKK under the guise of law enforcement. The list of deaths is too vast to mention all. The racial profiling and murdering of blacks seems to be a perpetual thing and there is drastic need for change, there is an indictment on all (irrespective of colour or race) to stand against the evil of racial oppression, stand for equal rights and justice for all. No longer should white people hide under the global privilege they enjoy, gifted to them by there fore fathers thru slavery and colonialization, via the sword, gun and religion.
