**** UPDATE!!! The gear box did NOT slow the kart down any!!! Somehow the jet came lose in the carb; terrible timing! Update video coming soon along with a little surprise, KJ Raycing style 🦾 Wanting to add reverse to the Budget Crosskart VF-1 Safari Mode, I found a gearbox on Ebay stating it could handle up to 18hp, it looked beefier than the standard 212cc gearboxes and is sold by reputable company (Blast LED). So I pulled the trigger on a $300 reverse gearbox option and this is how I mounted it. Now figuring out how to mount something is a lot different than seeing how it's done and replicating it; so I hope this helps you guys with your projects and I am definitely loving all the VF-1 builds going on. Having reverse on this crosskart makes me want to hit some trails and it's just in time as the weather gets better here.
