Hey, everybody out of here with etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the draw-tite trailer ball mount. So, this is going to be for our three inch hitch receiver. So, you want to make sure that it's going to be able to fit your hitch receiver that you have. And this is going to be a very, very heavy duty ball mount. It's made of forged steel, and it's going to give us a massive eight inch drop or a six inch rise so that all this comes into play on what you're really hauling. But, you do have the option here. There's a couple of things we're going to have to get first, and we're going to need a hitch pin and clip. The diameter of the hole is about 5A seven inch. Instead of just getting a basic hitch pin and clip where you can just pull the pin, pull the clip, and you can take the ball mount out, grab one that's locking just because they make them for a reason and we just want to make sure that this thing's going to stay connected to our truck. So I would highly recommend doing it. We have a bunch of them here. I just like this one right here, just because it is a pickles lock and we have crazy customizable keys that are going to be really, really hard to match. And, once we go like this and push it in, it's nice and solid and locked into place. So I like that. Also, another thing we're going to need is a trailer ball. So you want to make sure it's going to match up with the coupler, just look at the top of your coupler. And that should tell you what size it is, if you don't already know. So, another thing is, we need to make sure that it's gonna, the ball that we pick is going to have a inch and a quarter diameter shank. Why Well, that is the size of the hole. We don't want anything bigger because it won't fit in and anything smaller, is going to have way too much play. So see how it's kind of the same exact size Well, that's what we're looking for. Just because this thing is extremely heavy duty, we want to make sure that we match up everything nicely. The ball is about 20,000 pounds, the ones that we have right here. But, the ball mount goes up to 21,000 pounds. So if you wanna not limit your ball mount by a thousand pounds is get a ball that's going to be rated for at least 21,000 pounds and you should be good. It's going to have a tongue weight capacity of 2100 pounds. And again, when it comes to these bigger ball mounts, you just want in something strong, this is going to be extremely strong. There's not any adjustments to it, so you're kind of stuck with either the eight inch drop or the six inch rise. But another thing you can do is there's other type of trailer balls that will actually have a little bit longer of a plate here, whether it's an inch or two inches. So you're not really stuck with the rise and drop with a fixed ball mount like this. You can compensate that with a different type of ball. So an adjustable ball mount, yeah, they're nice, but typically you only have to adjust it one or two times, so you can just grab a ball to compensate for that extra riser, drop in what you get. All in all, this is going to be a very, very nice and strong option for you, whether you're just hauling around your fun toys or just doing crazy work on the construction site. It looks good, powder-coated finish, and again, it's just forged and very, very strong. A useful measurement is the distance between the center of your hitch pinhole to the center of the ball, and that's about ten and a half inches. So it's not going to be too close to your vehicle, but it's also not super far out from the vehicle. So, that's just going to prevent a lot of the contacting may get, if you have a toolbox or a bike rack on the front of your trailer. So that's always kind of nice thing to have and measure just to make sure not going to have any issues. That's pretty much it for a look at the draw-tite trailer ball mount..
