Oooh, I quite like this stage. Solar Man's stage is the first stage whose theme I just stopped and listened to for a bit before actually starting to play my first time through the game. This, and one other theme from the game will probably be in my top favourite Mega Man tunes. The stage itself is the fire-themed stage of the game with instant death flames in a few spots, and fire-themed traps... but there are also sun-themed obstacles too, such as the flower that charge up energy to fire a laser beam at you. The stage does have a mini-boss that is basically like two flying, harder versions of Heat Man, but they are still pretty easy. Heck, I even developed a strategy better than what I use in this video later on. Solar Man himself is actually pretty easy once you understand how to fight him. No, he is certainly not as easy as Blade Man in this regard, but still pretty easy anyways. A key thing to note is to never get directly beside Solar Man, this will just cause him to lean his sun into you. You will want to try and guard the centre of the room as much as possible as this is the best possible position for you to hit him, and for you to dodge his attacks. If he is jumping to the centre, simply move down to the left or right. The trick to Solar Man is to watch him carefully. He moves slowly enough that you have enough time to see how far he is jumping each time before you have to do any dodging. Stay focused and he should go down without much trouble whether you are using his weakness or not. Enjoy!~
