This video is not my best as I zoomed in too close-live and learn they say. But this Ninja Foodi 101 video shows you how to air crisp a whole chicken-so easy and delicious! I will be doing a whole chicken in the Ninja Foodi Grill as well. Its a little bit difficult to find a 4 pound chciken but check your mark for one they do show up-yiou can definitely find a 5 pound chicken-it may take a few more minutes to air crisp. Air Crisped Whole Chicken preheat Ninja foodi air crisp at 350F/176C then prepare chicken. 1 4-5 pound chicken 1/2 tsp rosemary 1/2 tsp. thyme 1/2 tsp. kosher salt 1/2 tsp. black pepper couple pieces of lemon Place all of these into the cavity of chicken 1-tsp kosher salt 1/2 tsp black pepper 2 pats of butter ( place under the skin on each breast) Sprinkle liberally the kosher salt all over the chicken top, bottom and sides Place chciken into air crisp basket choose air crisp 350F/176C for. 1 hour. Half way through the cooking time turn over the chicken and spray with canola oil -couple of sprays of canola oil When done take a temperature of chicken. 165F/74C
