On this particular afternoon, I found myself dogsitting downtown, so I hopped on the R and headed across the river to do some exploring. It's been a while since I walked around Brooklyn Bridge Park, and on this unseasonably warm day off, I was feeling adventurous. Starting in Squibb Park, we walk the iconic Squibb Park Bridge, catch those scenic views of the New York City skyline, the Brooklyn Bridge, and the Manhattan Bridge, all from wandering through Brooklyn Bridge Park. Not shown: me drinking lemonade and stopping at Luke's Lobster. If you want the best views of New York, you'll need to leave the city to get them. Jersey City's another great option that I'll try to get to before I move. But if you need an iconic walk, look no further than Brooklyn Bridge Park.
