Prior to Legion there were 5 expansions for World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade which had 16 dungeons, Wrath of the Lich King with another 16, Cataclysm with 14, Mists of Pandaria with 9, and Warlords of Draenor with 8, in addition to the original 20 dungeons from Vanilla WoW. Which brings us to a little over 80 dungeons that do not have mythic + modes.
