Perfect Sunday morning to get on the 1993 Cannondale M400 and explore a hidden bike path. Getting out on a Sunday morning, nice and early, to get the good light. We're going to be checking out a hidden cycle path that very few people ride. Norana Esplanade, Favona in south Auckland New Zealand. It's only about 5 or 6 kilometres long, and I hardly ever see anyone on it. But it's really good, and it's got fantastic, smooth cycle path infrastructure. There's just one problem. It doesn't go anywhere. It just finishes at a very busy road, about 4 or 5 kilometres from the nearest train station. So, at this stage, it's not particularly effective, and that probably explains why no one's using it.
