Celery is a vegetable that we take for granted. But it packs a flavor punch in everything we put it in. It also has health benefits, which we can cover in a future video. Today I'll show you how to chop your celery and use all the parts, and how to dehydrate it, and how to reconstitute it. Celery is almost 100% water so it is an easy vegetable to dehydrate and store. Because it loses sooooo much water, it is very small when it is finished drying. You can put a tremendous amount of celery in a jar, small bucket or other airtight container and use it for a long time. It is a perfect food to buy or grow, and dehydrate yourself for long term storage or to use when you are out of celery.
