c1988: THAMES, YORKSHIRE, ANGLIA and BBC2 lucky dip!

Another dog's dinner of clips from BBC2, Anglia through the night, The Big Y, and Thames from London. I'm guessing we're talking 1988 or thereabouts. Anglia was still playing around with its triANGULAR (see what they did there?) post-knight look to some effect (I quite liked the four seasons thing.) But let's face it, we all remember the horseman spinning by and not that hateful fluttering thing with its depressing jingle. (No wonder night time Anglia was billed ‘Anglia through the night’ - surely that should have been ‘Anglia threw (away) the knight’!) Apparently staff at Anglia hated the flag too. (BBC2 and YTV recorded from Belmont; ANG from Sudbury; THS was probably recorded in Stevenage from the local cable TV arrangement.)
