Sennheisser HD560S better than HD599 for Digital Piano

Sennheisser HD560S vs HD599 open-back headphones, which is the best for digital piano? How do they compare with the Audio Technica ATH-M40X that I had been using previously? Comments in this review are my personal views only, they might not hold for other people or other digital pianos. Text-to-speech voice over using TTS Maker, sounds way better than me 😊 Ranking for digital piano usage: #1 – Sennheiser HD560S #2 – Audio Technica ATH-M40X #3 – Sennheiser HD599 Ranking for entertainment usage: #1 – Sennheiser HD599 #2 – Sennheiser HD560S #3 – Audio Technica ATH-M40X For Yamaha Clavinova owners who are interested, my CLP-775 settings for CFX Grand Piano voice with the HD560S are as follow: - Binaural Sampling off PLEASE! (the CFX voice from the speakers sounds great but the binaural sampling for headphones sounds fake in my opinion. The good soundstage of the HD560S allows you to have that “surround feel” without using the binaural sampling, and sounds so much better). - Touch: Soft 1 (soft1 with the HD560S doesn’t sound too bright whereas medium is a bit mellow for me) - Damper resonance: 3 - Reverb: Concert hall, depth 8 - Volume (under voice edit): 127 (HD560’s impedance is 80 ohms, vs 50 ohms and 35 ohms for HD599 and ATH-M40X respectively. Hence it needs a bit more push to achieve the same output volume) - Harmonic Content (under voice edit): +10 (this gives the treble a bit more presence and I find it makes the CFX sound a bit brighter but without the metallic harness of simply increasing the Brightness setting). - Other settings are pretty much at default.
