AN12 DEPARTURE with a CRAZY SMOKE TRAIL - 60 Minutes of Antonov planes (4K)

60 year - old Antonovs are quite rare nowadays. I was lucky to see an AN12 of Cavok Air at Liege two weeks ago. I am always mesmerized by the crazy smoke trail the An12 leaves behind after departure. The aircraft departed to Poland and arrived two days earlier from Mallorca. At this time two An12 were present at Liege, the other one departed to Cairo two days later. The aircraft entered the runway via an intersection which was perfect for me because it rotated right in front of my camera lens. There are just a few civil AN12 operators left in the world. Cavok is the biggest civilian An12 operator and then there is Ukraine Air Alliance, Motor Sich and some operators in Africa. I included a few more Antonov clips I filmed in the past years and focused on the 4-prop An12 which has a very characteristic sound. Also not the Motor Sich airplane at 10:59 which had to land with only three working propellers after an engine failure. Thanks for watching, new videos every tuesday and friday.
