This is unfair! 佛菩薩怎麼不保佑我呢 Why did the buddhas and bodhisattvas not bless me? 我這個善因怎麼沒有好的結果呢 How come my good causes didn't give me good results? 這個錯誤的想法 What he believed was wrong. 你吃素有吃素的因果 There are causes and conditions for you to become a vegetarian, 你要發財 要發財的因果 the same for becoming wealthy. 你田裡面種了黃豆 If you plant soy beans in the field, 你怎麼長到西瓜了呢 you won't harvest water melons. 你種的這個青菜 If you plant green vegetables, 它怎麼長出蘿蔔來呢 you won't have carrots. 它不會呀 It is impossible. 如是因招感如是果 There are causes and effects. 所以你要發財 If you want to become wealthy, 你要懂得經濟的因果 you must know the causes and effects of economics. 你要健康 If you want good health, 你要懂得醫療、保健的因果 you must know the causes and effects of a healthy life. 你要有道德、人緣 If you want virtues, good affinity with people, 做官、做政治 or a career in politics, 你在政治上有政治裡面的因果 you must create causes and effects in politics. 你做商業 If you want to do business, 有商業裡面的信用、因果 you must build your credibility, and cultivate causes and effects in business. 因果是不會欺負人的 Causes and effects won't take advantage of you. 如是因招感如是果 A cause leads to a similar effect. 所以有的人 Therefore some people 比方開車子太快了 出了車禍 get into a car accident because they do speed driving. 我在念佛 I was mindful of the Buddha, 佛祖你怎麼都不幫忙我呢 but why didn't the Buddha help me? 佛祖幫不了忙 The Buddha couldn't help 因為你不合因果 because you didn't consider causes and effects. 你太快啦 You drove too fast. 快就出車禍啦 Speeding always causes car accidents. 十次車禍九次快 9 out of 10 car accidents are caused by speed driving. 你違規、你不合法 You broke the rules and you were illegal. 當然就出問題啦 Of course you'll get into troubles. 所以我們在世間上 Therefore in the world, 不能說因為我信仰宗教 we shouldn't think that because I believe in religion, 什麼問題就解決了 不是 every problem can naturally be solved. No. 這個因果法不能違背 The dharma of causes and effects can't be offended. 基督教也說 The Christians say: 你要想怎麼樣收成 As you sow, 你就怎麼樣栽種 so will you reap. 我們要想自己對未來、前途 The future you want, 你要想怎麼樣成功 or the success you want to achieve 怎麼樣子或者有名 or the fame you seek 怎麼樣或者得到利益 or the benefits you pursue 你對起因動念你要重視 all rely on your motivation. 你不能用這個因希望那個結果 You can't expect a cause to 是不可以的 create a different result. 所以如是因招感如是果 A certain cause leads to a certain result. 這個是很正確的 This is always right. 我們對因果 In aspect of causes and results, 佛祖你可以不相信 you might discard belief in the Buddha, 因果你不能不相信 but you cannot but believe that 因果對我們關係非常重要 causes and effects are important to us. 希望大家瞭解 Hope everyone understand this.
