So a few weeks ago, late in the night .. my buddy Lattik had the crazy idea of shooting a music video with me playing my guitar on the roof! It sounded like a pipe dream at the time.. But with the help from the wizard himself Bryan from Bow media. We pulled it off ! A one take live recording of a little song I wrote about the legendary Canmore Hotel. This old hotel is almost reached temple status is some regards. It’s like a church! To the locals who frequent it’s pool tables and it’s stools. It’s a holy place .. I’ve been drinking there since I was still underaged , sneaking past the bouncer. So many nights forgotten , only fragments of images and laughter remain. Drunk around the fuzeball table or dancing to live music. It’s been bought and sold and renovated too many times to count, but it’s still the one and only Canmore Hotel!
