Basic story: in CanyonClan, Tempest and Gale grew up together and were really close. Wind and Lion killed her mom and sister (her sister (Riverrun), Chirpingbird, Galestep and Tempestcall were all real tight as paws). Around this time Gale was dying due to his leg being amputated and he left and later wound up in CreekClan, the new clan across the border. Tempestcall was shocked by his (unintentionally) faked death but willing to forgive him until he showed up at the gathering wearing CanyonClan marriage gear along with the two cats who killed her only family.
