Ryan (2004) is an animated documentary short film by Chris Landreth, who interviews renowned animator Ryan Larkin about his life and career, as well as Larkin's current struggles with homelessness and substance abuse. This short film has managed to remain in my memory due to its incredibly unique surrealist visual style of "Psychorealism". This video also examines the other works of Larkin and Landreth, and how both of their careers were affected by the release and subsequent success of Ryan.
