This became his signature tune and he is the only artist worldwide to have his name used by the Hohner accordion company as a model name for a musical instrument and the Bluebell Polka is the only accordion tune to make the UK Singles charts top 20, which it did in December 1955. Brandon McPhee is a 27-year-old Caithness musician, presenter and showbiz personality, who has played before royalty, made television appearances in Britain, Ireland and the USA and has recorded with some of the finest Irish artists, including Daniel O’Donnell, Philomena Begley and Foster & Allen.
