The real claim, and it is supported by massive incontrovertible evidence (but people who are abjectly ignorant of the research ....quite naturally are completely unaware of this evidence) is that today's apes and today's humans ALL evolved from a now extinct COMMON ANCESTOR. The exact same way that today's Tigers and today's Lions both evolved from a now extinct COMMON ANCESTOR. This process has a technical term -- naturally a term people ignorant of real evolutionary science don't know" It's called ADAPTIVE RADIATION... ...and, no, you don't use a Geiger counter to find it. But, by all mens : STAND UP AND SHOUT your abject ignorance to the world. Then tell us how the next brain surgery needs to be done.
