VW 2054cc updated for customer’s Street Bug

Getting all the little details done and dialed-in before the customer comes and picks it up. Love the look of that “bling” chrome tin w/ dual carbs. 😎 A few highlights: - First time testing the Zalex remote engine starter system. A bit scarey with exposure of flywheel with its teeth gear moving around. Had to temp secure the remote test wiring & fuel hoses. Worked flawlessly 👍. - Soon will add to the Zalex additional Oil Pressure, Oil Temp, RPM & AFR guages with sending units. - Customer choice not have it dialed-in on a dyno (addition cost), so recommend using a AFR meter during street driving on his exhaust for final jetting. - Using my quiet test stand “mule” exhaust. Customer will use his own exhaust. - Used aluminum Rivet Nutsert in tin for all hose clamp mountings. VintageFlat4.com
