Before You Buy an eBike Rack for your Travel Trailer: Watch This!

We recently purchased two heavy eBikes and we love riding them. We faced a surprising challenge of finding a suitable method to carry them with our travel trailer during camping trips. We discovered that most "RV-rated" bike racks on the market have inadequate weight restrictions or are not recommended for use on a travel trailer. After extensive searching, we found a solution that involved installing a hitch receiver (link below) directly welded onto the frame of the trailer, which would not place any weight on the tube-style bumper. This hitch receiver could then support a heavy-duty bike rack that was specifically approved for use on a travel trailer and had a high weight capacity. The video showcases the installation process of the hitch receiver in the first part of a two-part series.
